There's a blend door that directs the air to different vents. Sometimes that vent won't fully close and cause a sound from the air blowing incorrectly. Did you mention to whoever replaced the fan of the issue and possible cause?
Whining noise with air
I need help I have a 2017 Lincoln MKZ hybrid and I started hearing a whining noise coming from my fan unit and I have no idea why I know it’s not a blower motor because I got it replaced and it’s still happening. I also cleaned the cabinet air filter and it’s still happening. Please help.
