Overall sales of Lincoln vehicles have been declining steadily over the past several years though.

2013: 81,694
2012: 82,150
2011: 85,643
2010: 85,828
2009: 82,847
2008: 107,295
2007: 131,487

I think that the success is mostly because of an increase in price for the MKZ. Lincoln is going to need to get volume up a bit more in the next phase of its resurrection.

That is true. I think that a smaller 4-door would be great. I also think a halo car would be nice. Remember this concept?

The Lincoln MKR? I think that people would love to buy this. It could actually compete with Cadillac.

08 to 09 drop is due to the death of the Town Car. Otherwise they've been holding in the mid-low 80's

This is one of those rare times that I can actually say I LOVE the front grille of a lincoln, sadly it's just a concept. They should have applied this same layout to their other vehicles. the MKZ needs it.
