So only a select few will want Lincolns and you're saying that out of those very few are fully satisfied with their purchase. Isn't that a bad thing. If Lincoln is going after a small market, it at least needs to please with the vehicles it does sell.Lincoln doesn't build cars for everyone. Instead, they want to build cars that will be everything for a select few. I'd say the MKZ fits that mantra as few are actually fully satisfied with their purchase![]()
That's exactly what ZEP means! I was so looking forward to my new MKZ and unfortunately I am one of those who is VERY DISSATISFIED with my purchase. Such a shame Ford is screwing this up so bad. It is a beautiful car to look at, just don't touch it because it may fall apart! So only a select few will want Lincolns and you're saying that out of those very few are fully satisfied with their purchase. I have yet to pick up a MKZ at the moment. What is it really that you are dissatisfied with? You have me worried now, I have been positive looking in to get one. Can you go through some of the bad things that we all should know about? That's exactly what ZEP means! It is a balance. You want to appeal to as many people as possible, but if you try to appeal to everyone, you can end up not appealing to anyone. That is why car companies have so many different models these days. Lincoln doesn't strike as doing particularly well right now, so maybe we will see a shake up in the near future. If the Lincoln motto is true then they are just selling themselves short. If they expect to make more sales instead they should make the vehicle for just about anybody who is looking for a luxury vehicle.
They lowered the price of the MKZ hybrid becasue no one was buying them. Ford dealers had hybrids rotting on the lot and they needed a way to get them GONE. Easiest solution, give the MKZ hybrid a price cut...You can see what Lincolns game plan is for their hybrid MKZ. They want every one to buy the hybrid instead of the base. Like honestly for the same price who wouldn't. The MKZ's flaws are showing up in the light now though. With more people getting them the amount of dissatisfaction will rise in numbers.
