Ford is going to offer stop/start as standard on most of its lineup, anyone know if Lincolns will get it as well?

I know the 2013 Fusion made stop start available so I have to assume MKZ will get the same treatment??

I haven't heard anything for sure, but I would assume that if Fords are getting stop/start standard, Lincoln must be getting stop/start standard as well. Lincoln customers would be angry if they weren't offered or had to pay for something that comes standard in Fords.

Is stop/start standard in the new MKC?

There's little information on the MKC right now, but there's a good chance it will come with start/stop tech, it's one of the things that could really benefit it. But these systems can be an issue, might be worth it if they do without it

I have heard of people having issues with start/stop technology. Basically the vehicle doesn't start after stopping like it should exactly.

There is little known about the MKC. All the website says about technology is "Visionary technology doesn't replace drivers but provides assistance when they need it most." So who knows what that means.

I am into the fuel saving aspect but i think it is an annoying thing that your car turns on and off all the time while driving, especially if it doesn't work properly.

I've never been in a car with stop/start technology. Do the systems work well? By that I mean, do they work seamlessly? I could see the system really chopping up your driving experience.

Has anybody had experience with the start/stop system in your vehicle?

is it more annoying than burning unnecessary fuel? Which ones don't work properly?

I don't know about the specific model. It might not even be working improperly, it might just be that people don't like the eel of the car stopping and starting all the time. I could see how it would take some getting used to.
