RECALL! 2013-2014 Lincoln MKZ sedans

Just thought that I would let everyone know that there has been a recall ordered for some 2013-2014 Lincoln MKZ sedans.

The issue is the vehicles' seatback frames do not comply with National Highway Traffic Safety Administration standards. Certain driver and front passenger seatback assemblies may have been produced with substandard welds joining the seatback recliner mechanism to the seatback frame. This could increase the risk of injury in a collision.

No injuries or crashes have been reported.

Dealers will replace the seatback frame for free.

man these manufacturers are running scared. No one wants to be the next GM, notice the en mass recall reaction of nearly every major manufacturer in light of GM's fiasco ;) Well that or they're flooding the news with recalls so theirs perhaps gets lost in the fray?

I don't know. strange times... 08 redux, you watch...
