Farely was never really in charge, he was simply lending an extra hand that he didn't really have. I like Galhotra for the simple reason that he's a product guy and product guys ALWAYS push for the best possible product because after all product leads brand not the other way around.

More importantly Galhotra put in a several year stint heading up Ford Asia Pacific, now he's running the show just in time for the Asian invasion. Good move.

P.S Reins, not Reigns ;)

Thanks for the background on this guy. I'm glad that he is a product guy. That should spell good things for Lincoln. I wonder what he has planned for Lincoln.

That makes sense considering the growth of the Chinese market. I don't think that'll be a bad thing at all. Just more cars that can be converted to long wheel base. I am curious as to how much influence the person at the top has over the products, especially when they first come in, because Lincoln must already have a few vehicles pretty far through development.

I think the person at the top has a lot of power over products but they still have people to verify it, if it's viable and all that's needed. @Truthiness
I agree with this, but I am wondering specifically about when a new leader takes over. Lincoln must already have products in development. How much influence can he have over those vehicles, and when will we see the first Lincoln vehicle that was developed entirely under the new leadership?
