Hello friends, my name is Luis, im from Mexico, just get a MKZ 2013 , with 57,200 miles, everything looks great..... serviced in the dealer since 2013
I have a dought or question.... when I star driving 1st and 2nd speed gives a little hit.... sometimes don't , i asked a lincoln dealer and the said its normal.... everything its ok with fluids.... someone here experienced that?

I have the 2013 with the 3.7 V6. The shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd is often a little rough. I just bought the car with about 80k miles and don’t know how normal it is.

Same issue here. It shifts the hardest from 1st to 2nd if I'm accelerating very slowly, almost jist rolling. If I accelerate more through the shift, I can usually avoid the jolt. Also, there is a slip/hesitancy between 2nd and 3rd, usually in the first several minutes of driving. This goes away after engine warms.

Maybe the torque converter in the transmission is the issue. Take your car to the dealer.
