Starting to dislike Lincoln's Signature Grille Design seen on the MKZ, MKS, and probably more future Lincoln's. It might be one of those things that take time to sink in but so far im not liking it. Preferred the 2012 MKZ squared grille design over this...

I'm on the same boat as you FLM89. I feel that the 2012 MKZ is a little bolder with the lines where the new 2013 MKZ is much smoother. Hard to explain if you dont know what I mean but definitely is a transition.

The 2013 MKZ is a more futuristic design. I think it grabs attention in a good way though. It looks "premium"

If that makes any sense.
I agree, the older design looks more utilitarian while the 2013 looks more luxury. I actually dig both designs. It would be cool to see a comparison photo of both together. It looks like the 2012 is much bigger.

this squared design was so much better.
but it's not too late for lincoln to change it up. depending on how bad or good people think the current design is they might change it for the next production year.

It's a possibility but I doubt it. If people really want to change the look, there might be an aftermarket piece for it. But I don't really think the new design is bad at all. People would just learn to live with it.

If any manufacturer ever goes back to their old design I would find it odd. It will take some time for it to set in place but it makes sense. If you took the older front fascia and combine it with the new rear end design it would all look too odd.
