Lincoln has some new ads that debuted just yesterday that Pit the MKZ H against the Lexus ES Hybrid. It features younger couples asking questions to both cars who respond with a sign over their roofs.

The Lexus is so shinny ;) ahahaa

It's clear that Lincoln is stepping up their game, at least they just don't offer up what the next guy does but offers some unique features. Lexus just seems to be keeping up and not being innovative with cars like the ES.

There is no doubt domestic brands have more features standard compared to both japanaese and german brands.

But both the japs and germans have unique advantages over the domestic brands

germans being the brand and the drive as well as quality and quality control

the japs I believe still have better quality control and reliability over the domestic brands.

MKZ is still lacking in some quality control in certain areas.

Well I'm glad Lincoln has finally started picking at rivals. They need to climb the chain slowly but surely. Lexus and Acura are easy targets to hunt down, Buick next, then Infinti followed by Caddy and lastly the Teutonic Trio ;)

If Lincoln gets a RWD car they instantly leap frog up to Infiniti's level in my opinion.

Lexus is only easy with specific lower-level cars, but Acura is more of a brand they can target as a whole. At the rate Lincoln is going, they can catch up to where Acura is and even beat them.

Good ad campaign. Lincoln really zeros in on its positives, and furthermore it directly compares itself to its competitors. Its a pretty aggressive ad campaign. Its a little funny that they use young couples. I'm sure the average age of a Lincoln buyer is around 60 or so. I guess 60 year olds don't look as nice in commercials

Acuras sales are not doing that well

They get good reliability reports but they honestly dont sell that many cars. Is it possible for Lincoln to catch up? I guess.. but it'll be hard work for them.
