Just wondering if anyone has or is planning to make any mods to your MKZ?

Tints? New wheels? Debadging?

Just curious. Post up some pictures if you can.

Some may disagree, however, I am crazy about the wheels on the MKC and hope they'll fit my Z.

Yes they are quite gorgeous aren't they, theres also another 19 inch option and a 20 inch option that are equally as gorgeous...

personally I love the bark polished 19's, but even the chrome 18 spoke 19s are just as good :D

I do agree that those rims are pretty nice. I'm pretty sure that they would look even better on the MKZ.

I don't really think that the MKZ takes too well to a lot of mods though. I would be interested to see an aftermarket body kit for it just to see what it looks like. I couldn't find any on google with a quick search, but they could exist!

that's actually not a bad idea. I would first try to find someone that can photoshop them on and then decide if to get a set or not

I am not a fan of any of the wheels on the MKZ. I love all the options for the MKC. All in all though I can't get enough of my Z.

you could even consider a set from Fusion, just swap the center caps...

Fusion has one set similar to the MKC's you were interested in...

personally i'm into the Honeycombs though...

I will be doing 35% tint, paint protection film and debadging right off the bat. Not much else except for possibly wheels.

Zep, I swear you are in my head! Those are the ONLY two wheel setups I like on the Fusion and have considered both. I also love the Honeycomb but not sure if it would like right on the MKZ. The 19' H-spokes are very aggressive.

great minds think alike ehhehhhh. No i hear you, they are a bit BLING. To be honest I think the honeycombs would look best with a slight smoke to them like the MKZ's premium 19 inchers.

I dont think it would be too difficult to photoshop yourself a quick mock up of how they look...

I OWN A 2008 WITH TINTED WINDOWS, "OZ" black spoke chrome rims, 17x7.5 very lite,K n N air cleaner. unfortunately, It handles like like a balloon at 60 mph, aaand shifts like theirs mayonnaise in the trans, ------Looks nice thou! after i replaced the chrome peeling stock rims w/oz lites i got way better pick up and 2 more mpg. oh, i also replaced two (2) drive shafts as the bearings kept wearing out. Made in china i think they said. ;-)) Lincoln would maybe sell more if they made them with a few mods ala Lexus or at least "some real" handling! Car has 30k miles

Get it in writing how long it will last before SHRINKING AN PEELING off. I used 3M,, lasted four years, hence the warranty.
