I don't want to be rude but I might have to. You know Mondeo is Fusion, and you know Fusion is MKZ... The first Lincoln that will use the CD4 has already used CD4, its called the MKZ

CD4 is simply an evolution of the CD3 which was the LAST Gen Fusion/MKZ. CD3 already has the current EDge/MKX on it as well.

Just saying that the fact that this is news makes little sense. We've known for a long time the Mondeo was MKZ, we've known for equally as long that MKX/Edge share their platform with Modeo/Fusion and by extension MKZ.

I mean its no surprise that when Mondeo/Fusion/MKZ moved to CD4 for the current gen the eventual redesign for Edge/MKX would make the same migration from CD3 to CD4...

but hey a press release is a press release
