I'm becoming a fan of the 2014 MKZ Hybrid, and thinking of purchasing one. I like the look of the exterior with the exception of the front grill. It really does not appeal to me aesthetically.
Are there any aftermarket replacement hoods and/or grills that are available?
Actually like the 2015 and 16 grille as it has classic design cues from the Lincolns of the 1940's. I think the 2017 is a beautiful car but the grille blends in with nearly every other late model design on the road. It does not have the instant recognition that the '15 and 16's have.
OMG that is why I won't purchase a 2017 or later, because they changed the grille. I love, love, love the "Eagle" looking grille! I had a 2014 and wanted to upgrade to current, but 2016 is the last year with the "Eagle" grille so I bought a 2016.
I decided the blacked out look would help, but then ended up leaving one bar unpainted. I think it turned out okay and it most definitely changed the appearance of the front end. I used Plastidip so it can be removed effortlessly if needed.
