Ford sold 600,000 vehicles in China through September, which represents a 51% increase over the previous year. The Chinese really seem to like their Fords, but will they give the same love to Lincoln?

Ford plans to bring Lincoln to China, and given that Lincolns are big and efficient, they could be a great success there. There is less of a brand reputation for Lincoln already established in China, which means that Lincoln has a clean slate to start out in China.

Another reason Lincoln could do well is the hatred for the Japanese that is innate in China. When you have people purposely not buying Japanese simply because they are Japanese, it really makes things a lot easier.
