So I was just looking at sales figures for MKZ in Canada and in the US and an interesting contrast struck me. Canadians seem to be adopting the new MKZ far better than their American counterparts. Heres the data:

In USA YTD sales for MKZ are 23,775 units compared with 2012 sales through Sptember at 23,474 or 1.2% more sales in '13 vs '12.
Compare that to Canadian Numbers where already YTD '13 sales have passed 2012 year end totals. 1133 YTD '13 vs 867 total for 2012. At this point last year the MKZ had seen only 754 sales. YTD MKZ sales in Canada are up 66%.
