2019 MKZ Heated/Ventilated Seat Not Working

452 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  bbf2530
Hi all, recently the heat and air on the driver seat stopped working. The power button still works and lights up on the instrument panel. The front passenger seat still works. Because they are both connected to the same fuse I’m doubting that is the issue. I’ve read a number of posts mentioning the module being replaced. Any advice or experiences with this issue? Thanks!

Hi EBoMo and welcome to the MKZ Forum. Is your 2019 MKZ still within the 4 year/50,000 mile New Vehicle Warranty? If yes, call the Service Department at your Lincoln Dealership and make a service appointment to have it properly diagnosed and corrected.

If not still within warranty, there is not much that can be done for self-help. Check the fuses related to the heated and cooled seats. The fuse box locations and diagrams/lists are in the Owners Manual. Check the Index under "Fuses" for the correct pages in your copy. Inspect the under-seat wiring and connections for breaks, loose connections, burning etc.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Thank you! I’ll have to check the warranty, I’m pretty sure it was a 3 year warranty. As for self-help, my husband is a trained mechanic (non-practicing at the moment) so he can do some repairs/diagnostics at home.
Just found out I DO have a 4 year….I’m on it Monday AM.

Hi EBoMo. Yes, all Lincoln vehicles come with a 4 year/50,000 mile New Vehicle Warranty. And a 6 year/70,000 mile Powertrain Warranty.

Good luck.
