2016 mkz

Recently have replaced my Lincoln touch sync 2 w/out nav to sync 3 upgrade w/nav and it functions very well. Just did a software update through fordpass and Lincoln way successfully. Only issue is the instrument cluster does not recognize the navigation upgrade. Even though the steering wheel controls of the music, cellphone work without a hitch. Also the voice command works to gain access to new nav but still have to ingage by the LCD screen. Still shows compass choice. Was actually hoping it would give me a Speedo option with the installation but I guess pcm does not recognize all. Is there an upgrade or vin to fool it in thinking it had it originally through a dealership or am I wasting my money and time on this. I heard the newer 2017 have it and cannot be used to replace the 2016 cluster. Frustrated.
