I did. I actually brought the car to the dealership today. They just called me a couple hours ago and said they couldn't correct the issue.Don't own one but did take a couple of them for a road test and haven't noticed this. Have you tried contacting Lincoln?
Yes, with just the sunroof open. I think I will take your advice. With a any window cracked the sound does goes away. I just never had to crack a window with any other car.with just the sunroof open? most cars will give you some its natural, I like to crack additional windows to allow smooth passage through the cabin. Welcome to the forum!
no worries! Its something I've noticed with Ford vehicles over the years. Our now gone '03 Escape was the same way, actually MUCH worse. It sounded like a chopper was trying to land on your roof, THWAP THWAP THWAP THWAP!Yes, with just the sunroof open. I think I will take your advice. With a any window cracked the sound does goes away. I just never had to crack a window with any other car.
Thanks for the information! Glad to be part of the forum!
yea they're fun. Turbos a little peaky on the 2.0T and it gets a little torque steery, but I attribute that more to the light electric steering. One of the reasons we didn't go for the redesigned Escape a few years back...Thats horrible, thankfully i never had to buy an older escape.
Have you had the chance to drive a newer escape?
