This reviewer makes the suggestion that the MKZ is nothing more but a glorified Fusion.

Have you ever heard the old phrase “putting lipstick on a pig?” The 2013 Lincoln MKZ is sort of like that, except the pig isn’t so much a pig but rather a well-versed sedan known as the Fusion in the Ford lineup. You get it.

In a way it is but it still has it's unique features like the panoramic roof. I guess Lincoln didn't want to make a huge investment to offer up something completely new. Across the industry it's like this.

I came across the same idea but never said it out loud. THe fusion is a nice car too but the MKZ is a glorified version I have no complaints.

Depending on the price different some might just turn to a ford fusion instead but they will be missing on a couple of unique features. And not to mention the class is different.

the MKZ has enough differences to make me not **** on it being a horrible luxury version of the Fusion. I think Lincoln did an amazing job here.

glass panoramic roof means a lot to me especially with how it was designed.
after sitting in the front and back of a new mkz you wont look at a new fusion the same way

The fusion is a nice car but if you have ever driven a fusion back to back with the MKZ you will know the difference.
