you think the MKZ will get the 2.3 EcoBoost engine that the MKC will be having? MKC will see the 2.3 as a $1000 upgrade over the base 2.0, I don't see why the MKZ should miss out on the party

I don't know if the Hybrid is a barrier, the MKZ comes stock with the 2.0, and the 3.5 N/A v6 is the current upgrade, but if you want the bump in power you need to opt for AWD as well.

the 2.3 could offer a bump up from the 2.0s 240 hp and 275 lb-ft of twist and still be available in FWD format...

its possible they might include it on a mid-cycle refresh model. i just dont see it happening any time soon. plus the hybrid engine in the MKZ is already good enough

I would actually like to see the new 2.7TT engine in the MKZ. Good to make the MKZ a performance sedan or just something more powerful. I know lincoln wanted to make faster cars.
