"Arrival of the New" - Official Lincoln MKZ Commercial

It's the latest chapter in a 90 year story of building the most personal automobiles on the road. It's a vision with a different perspective.

It's the all-new Lincoln MKZ. Now in showrooms everywhere.

I saw that at first glance I though his shirt ripped open exposing his undershirt but a double take and closer look revealed it to be air bags on the seat belts to relieve the back lash pressure from the seat belts them self. Amazing how Lincoln took the effort in improving the safety instruments.

I have never seen that before airbags in the seat belts? I'm glad Lincoln does these kind of things to take their reputation for safety further. This adds more trust to their brand as always. I wonder what other cool new features the MKZ has.

That scene where the air bag deployed from the seat belt was just a flex of their muscle to show their competitors what they are capable of. Watch out Mercedes...

air bags in seat belts are a good idea. people I know that have gotten into accidents have told me how the tension on the seat belt was a bit too harsh on them in accidents, some even have marks left on them from seat belts. So maybe with air bags it will get rid of this?

I have dealt eith that situation as a passenger when we got in to an accident the seat belt gave me some nasty marks on the side of my neck and gave me some serious whip lash. Airbags would be a nice solution to avoid that.

I am surprised no one has thought of this idea before but good for Lincoln to implement this in there safety system.

This is where the MKZ will set the bar in innovation and safety. I won't be surprised if competitors or other automakers start following.

Yup! Thank Ford for being the first in the industry for bringing this technology to us. Here's a video of how it works just to give everyone a better idea

Yep. This isn't the first car with the airbags. Relax people.

Gotta love the lights at night. The front and interior lights blend so well. *drool*
